The 42-credit management curriculum spans 23 months. Students take most of their core courses one at a time (typically 8 weeks each) in conjunction with a professional development course designed to improve their managerial and soft skills (typically 16 weeks each).
Students may choose to specialize in our cutting-edge Analytics for Managers concentration, or obtain a broader understanding of business functions with the General concentration.
Each moment is precious in your busy schedule. We have standardized the scheduling pattern within our courses to reduce the amount of time you have to spend just re-learning how to function within each course.
- Each course consists of 8 modules.
- Each module goes live in sequence at 6 pm Sunday.
- Eight-week courses open a new module each week.
- Sixteen-week courses open a module every other week.
- All courses are entirely asynchronous, so learning can happen anywhere and anytime you can connect.
Depending upon the course a student may be assigned to watch videos, collaborate on group-based team projects, participate in threaded discussions groups, and/or complete other online learning activities. Most assignments will be due by the end of the day in which the next module opens.
We strongly believe that an online master’s program in business works best when students are closely connected to a cohort of their peers. In this program, you progress through the coursework with the same set of fellow students. Although you are separated through the distance-learning format, our program's strong reliance on a cohort-structure can effectively provide the support you need to succeed and to build a network. This environment not only allows the development of a strong network of support, but it reinforces the importance of collaboration and teamwork. Each cohort also has dedicated teaching assistant(s) to support students and their faculty throughout a cohort’s program.
